Arizona Veterinary Internal Medicine Practice Information

APPOINTMENTS

Appointments for an internal medicine or cardiology consultation are available Monday through Friday. Initial appointments are between the hours of 8:30am and 12:00 noon and generally take one hour; however, your pet may need to stay longer for further diagnostics. If you would like to make an appointment, please call our reception staff during our hours of operation (8:00am-5:00pm) at 480-635-1110, extension 7. We also evaluate patients on an emergency basis, referred to us by your family veterinarian, if necessary.

EMERGENCIES

If an emergency situation arises during regular business hours, please contact our front office staff and we will assist you in any way possible.

If your pet has an emergency or a new problem after 5:00pm Monday through Friday or on weekends/holidays, please contact your primary care veterinarian or the nearest emergency clinic. We encourage our clients to keep copies of their discharge summaries and/or current records in order to better assist any emergency personnel.

TELEPHONE COMMUNICATIONS

Our hospital telephone hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

In general, we return our phone calls late afternoons to early evenings, if not between daily appointments and procedures. Due to the doctors' schedules, our support staff handle many calls. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your pet, or if you would like to leave an update on your pet’s progress, feel free to call 480-635-1110 extension 7 to speak with our reception staff.
