Southwest Veterinary Surgical Service is a specialty referral surgical practice dedicated to providing your pet with the highest quality of surgical care possible. Our board-certified surgeons have over eighty years of combined surgical expertise, and our dual board-certified anesthesiologist and critical care specialist is committed to providing safe anesthetic protocols with special emphasis on pain management and prevention. Our highly trained and competent staff is committed to enhancing the quality of life for our patients and strengthening the human-animal bond by providing excellent surgical care, vigilant anesthetic monitoring, and comprehensive pain prevention and management.

We work closely with our colleagues at Arizona Veterinary Specialists in order to provide comprehensive care to our patients. We routinely collaborate with the oncology, internal medicine, and radiology practices in order to assure that all aspects of your pet’s medical and surgical condition are carefully considered. In addition, the Emergency Animal Clinic is available for continuous round-the-clock monitoring for recovering surgical patients.

For our clients’ convenience, Southwest Veterinary Surgical Service has three locations. In addition to our office at the Arizona Veterinary Specialty Center, we also practice out of our state-of-the-art specialty referral hospital, the Southwest Veterinary Referral Center, at 6677 W. Thunderbird Rd. in Glendale, and the Emergency Animal Clinic, at 14202 N. Scottsdale Rd. in Scottsdale. All offices are fully staffed and equipped to provide exceptional surgical care, attentive anesthetic monitoring, and proactive pain management.
