Dr. David Bone
Dr. David Bone is a 1978 graduate of the Oklahoma State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Following an internship at Colorado State University, he completed a surgical residency at the University of Tennessee in 1982. Dr. Bone was an Assistant Professor of Surgery for one year at the University of Tennessee before spending four years as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Purdue University. Dr. Bone became board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 1985. In 1987, he relocated to Phoenix and founded Southwest Veterinary Surgical Service, and he has enjoyed practicing in the valley for the past 20 years. Dr. Bone’s areas of interest include orthopedics, oncologic surgery, total hip replacement, fracture repair, and oral surgery. He is a member of the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association, a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, and is a charter fellow of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry.
Dr. Bradford Dixon
Dr. Bradford Dixon graduated in 1990 from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed an internship at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston. He served his surgical residency at the University of Missouri where he also earned his master’s degree. Dr. Dixon relocated to Arizona in 1995 and joined Southwest Veterinary Surgical Service. He earned diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 1997 and has been a partner with the practice since 2001. Dr. Dixon’s areas of interest include orthopedic surgery, oncologic surgery, spinal surgery, reconstructive surgery, fracture repairs, and tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO) procedures. He is a member of the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.
Dr. Tara Enwiller
Dr. Tara Enwiller earned her DVM from the University of Minnesota in 1998. She completed a small animal medical/surgical internship at Oklahoma State University and a second small animal surgical internship at Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center. Dr. Enwiller received surgical residency training and a master’s degree in Clinical Sciences from Kansas State University in 2003. She moved to Arizona to join Southwest Veterinary Surgical Service in the summer of 2003 and earned diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2004. Dr. Enwiller’s areas of interest include thoracic surgery, orthopedic surgery, and surgical diseases of the perineum, upper airway, and head and neck. She is a member of the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.
Dr. Mark House
Dr. Mark House received his DVM degree from Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario in 2004. While studying at the University of Guelph he received the John Buttrum Memorial Award, the Principle’s Honours Awards, and was an Ontario Veterinary College Business Club Executive. After graduation he completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at the Ohio State University followed by a small animal surgical internship at Long Island Veterinary Specialists in Plainview, New York. Dr. House continued his surgical training at Long Island Veterinary Specialists and completed his surgical residency there in 2009. He earned diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2010. Dr House’s areas of special interest include orthopedics, spinal surgery, fracture repair, total hip replacement, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, and reconstructive surgery. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, and the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association.
